“ My favorite cafe in Calgary. Got the most friendly staffs, everyone is so sweet. Owner Adele and Gerard are the sweetest people I have ever met. They welcome everyone with open arms and will always go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy. They got some amazing sandwiches and coffee. Good spot to hangout with friends and study. Very cozy vibe with tables, couches and arm chairs to relax. Highly recommend!!! ”
“ Such a cute spot! Comfortable seating for all sizes of groups! Perfect place to study alone and get a moment to yourself. Huge menu, you won’t get bored with the selection. The iced matcha was PERFECT. Perfect strength, perfect sweetness, thank you! The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I got “The One” panini sandwich and it was great, just a good sandwich overall, and even came with a side of chips! Awesome spot, will definitely come back! ”
“ This little place is a hidden gem! The food is outstanding and the prices more than fair. Service is attentive without hovering and your order comes to you with a smile. I am a disabled senior.. the Cafe is easily accessible and there is close parking .. and lots of it. Now that the weather is co-operating the little outside tables will come into play and the patrons can spill outside into the sunshine. In support of the quality of food and confectionery, I noticed umpteen people dropping in to pick up take away lunches and beverages. I highly recommend this place.. but if you decide to come.... come early!! ”

“ Visited this cute cafe today and had a pretty good experience! The cafe is cozy and the service was great at an easily accessible location. The only issue with the location is that there are many businesses in the area that all share the same parking lot and finding a spot to park was not easy. Luckily, there was exactly 1 spot left. Aside from that, the food came out pretty quickly, tasted great and the coffee was fresh. At the time we dined in, there were basically no tables available so the gf and I ate on a small side table. Recommend coming here alone or with 1-2 others only as there is limited parking and seating. Planning on paying this little cafe another visit at a less busy time to try out their bakery items and a different sandwich! ”
“ This was our first visit to Friends Cafe, and we’ll definitely be back! We went for a 6km run/walk around Edgemont beforehand, so we were HUNGRY, and wanted to try a bit of everything. They have a great selection of grilled paninis, deli sandwiches, drinks and freshly baked goods on the menu. We ordered The First One and The Chicken One for paninis, a bowl of carrot ginger soup w/ buttered bread, a protein latte and a gingerbread latte, AND carrot cake and chocolate cake to finish. Would order them all again, but also can’t wait to try something new the next time we’re in. This cafe is cute, cozy and a great pit-stop if you’re in the NW or heading to Nose Hill Park. We’ll be back! ”
